Billing
Protocol: Time and materials basis
We proactively provide a written estimate for planned work during the initial scheduling call. Please contact us if you have any questions about our yard rates, payment terms or to request an estimate.
*Estimates may change on site unseen boats.
Payment
Protocol: No cash, no splash
Payment for all services including haul and launch are due prior to launching the vessel. A comprehensive bill with detailed time and material is provided to all customer prior to launch, questions regarding the bill will be promptly answered by office staff before launch.
An Environmental Compliance fee of 3% of total invoice is added to all work orders.
*Additional lay days and office staff time will apply if bill payment is delayed.
Materials
Protocol: In-house sourcing
All materials (bottom paint, zincs, and bearings) must be purchased from the Quarterdeck Store. Bottom paint not purchased or supplied by the yard will be assessed a surcharge of $100.00 per gallon.
Haul Out Services
Protocol: Safety first
Travel weight limit: 30 Tons
Maximum meam: 15 feet
All haul-out and launch services include certified technician time, high pressure wash, shoring, and two free laydays (days of haul and launch).
*Emergency hauls, unscheduled hauls, and any work done after hours will be charged at time and a half for all rates.

Bottom Paint Jobs
Protocol: Bread and butter expertise
Bottom Jobs include shoring followed by expert hull prep and antifouling paint application (rolled or sprayed) using all necessary materials. Well‐maintained bottoms receive this streamlined service; hulls in poor condition are evaluated and billed on a time‐and‐materials basis.

Lay Days
Protocol: Boat back in the water ASAP
During lay days, we optimize every minute on land—completing all work swiftly and efficiently so your boat is back in the water ASAP.

We prioritize our certified, in-house technicians for every job, ensuring consistent excellence and strict adherence to safety standards. When specialized subcontractors are required, we vet and oversee them directly—maintaining total quality control from start to finish.

DIY Projects
Protocol: Limited capacity, first come first serve.
DIY Policy Customers scheduling DIY projects must provide a detailed scope of work and confirm their desired launch date. All labor must be performed by the customer—any specialized trades are contracted and billed through the boatyard. Projects extending beyond the confirmed launch date will incur additional fees to offset impacts on our scheduled operations.
DIY access is available 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday–Friday, with weekend hours by prior arrangement, and overnight stays on the premises are prohibited.

Equipment Use
