About Monterey Boat Haven

Monterey Boat Haven is a long-standing boatyard under new management, initiated in April 2025 by entrepreneur Harry Kaufman.

The boatyard stands as a testament to California’s rich maritime heritage, rooted in the golden era of sardine fishing that defined this legendary coastline.

Our legacy traces back to the bustling days when sardine boats filled Monterey Bay, and the founding boatyard family, the Cinas, first established their reputation for exceptional marine craftsmanship along these historic waters.

Since then, the boatyard breathes fresh air with new management and exceptional customer service, powered by a dynamic team of exceptional young talents and wise, skilled professionals whose passion and expertise ensure every vessel sails at its very best.
